Pre-Incident Planning - Awareness Level Course

ASG has designed a 2.5-hour online course to introduce the NFPA 1620 Standard for Pre-Incident Planning and provide practical ways to implement it in your workplace. Pre-Incident Plans are vital to overall community preparedness for hazardous materials incidents and bridge the preparedness gap between the private sector businesses and public sector first responders.

3-day Advanced Pre-incident Planning Workshop

ASG has developed a 3-day Advanced Workshop to help organizations build a deeper understanding of the NFPA 1620 Standard for Pre-incident Planning, how it applies to their organization, and how to develop & implement it.

We walk organizations through our 3-day program, helping them with each step in the process to ensure their health and safety professionals understand how to implement Pre-incident Plans for all their high-risk facilities.

Hazard Vulnerability Assessments (HVAs) for Hospitals

Emergency Managers need the necessary tools to plan for all hazards based on risk. Hazard Vulnerability Assessments (HVA) enable Emergency Managers to identify the hazards/risks that could lead to complex mass casualties and disruptions to hospital operations. This course will empower Emergency Managers to conduct an HVA and apply the results into the hospital’s EOP.

Virtual Office Ergonomics Training

Studies into work-related health risks show that poor ergonomics in your office workspace can lead to serious long-term health issues. ASG's online office ergonomics training helps businesses reduce these work-related health risks through a flexible, online learning format with the option for virtual workspace assessments and consultation from one of our Industrial Hygienists.

CBRN Challenge™

The CBRN Challenge™ was created by ASG as an innovative approach to build integrated CBRN response capabilities for CBRN/Hazmat teams. This 3-5 day program will focus on sharpening all-hazards response capabilities and concludes with friendly, competitive field-based CBRN challenges so teams can put their skills to the test to see who is the best.

Hazmat Awareness PLUS

This course will teach you about the common Hazardous Materials being purchased, stored, used, and transited through your airport. You will learn about the characteristics, signs, symptoms, and human effects of the various Hazardous Materials. You will also learn about the methods for selecting the proper PPE based on the type of Hazmat incident and the correct donning/doffing procedures for the three levels of Hazmat PPE.

CBRNE/Hazmat Qualification

This course will provide you with a more in-depth knowledge about the practical elements of Hazmat incidents. You will be provided the knowledge and skills needed to understand Hazardous/CBRN substances and the risks associated with them in an incident. You will also learn about the types and UN classifications of hazardous materials, human effects, and public protective measures.

CBRNE/Hazmat Operations

Confidence in one’s Hazmat detection equipment is critical during an incident response. This course provides responders with training in using detection equipment in practical situations and interpreting the results so the proper actions can be taken to minimize the impact of the hazard. Responders will also learn about incident management systems and strategies for handling incidents.

CBRNE/Hazmat Advanced

This course will teach you about various tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for responding to Hazmat hazards that you may encounter. These TTPs include facility surveying, hazard analysis, plume modeling, and many more. This course also includes 5 days of life-like Hazmat Response scenarios to put your skills to the test.
